Track refunds

View refunds, filter them and see their details.

Overview

The refunds screen lists amounts returned to customers, with payment method, customer, original sale and who processed it.

Access

From the dashboard, tap the "Refunds" card.

Interface description

  • Payment method filter: Cash, card, mobile money, mixed, or all.
  • Average refund: Summary indicator over the period.
  • Details (original sale, processed by): Lets you trace back to the initial sale and the operator.

Step-by-step procedure

  1. Open "Refunds" and filter by payment method if needed. -> The list and indicators update.
  2. Tap a refund to see its original sale and details. -> The full detail appears.

Special cases

Refunding a sale is done from the sales history; this screen is mainly for follow-up and analysis.

Tips

  • Watch the average refund and number of returns: a rise may signal a product problem.
