Understand the key figures of the day and react to stock alerts.
Overview
The dashboard gives an immediate view of activity: sales of the day, number of transactions, and stock status (low / out). It helps run the day.
Access
It is the home screen of the manager and administrator, shown after signing in.
Interface description
- Today overview: Total sales of the day, number of transactions and stock status. This block refreshes automatically when you return to the dashboard; a Refresh button (circular arrow icon, top right of the block) is still available.
- Low stock / Out of stock cards: Number of products below threshold or sold out; tappable to act.
- Stock alert banner: Appears when products are out of stock; tap it to see the list.
- Theme navigation cards: Grouped shortcuts (Sales, Stock, Settings...).
Step-by-step procedure
- Check the daily overview to gauge activity. -> You see the sales and transactions of the day.
- Tap a stock card (low / out) or the alert banner. -> You reach the affected products to restock. (Check: Check that critical products are handled.)
Examples
Morning check: On arrival, you look at remaining sales and out-of-stock products to order.
Special cases
Automatic refresh: if you leave the app and come back, or close a screen opened on top of the dashboard, the daily overview reloads by itself. You no longer need to press Refresh.
The figures match the day in the company time zone (not the device one): the reference stays the same, even when travelling.
Tips
- Handle stock-outs first thing in the morning: that is what loses sales during the day.
- No need to leave and reopen the screen to get the latest figures: they refresh automatically when you come back. The Refresh button only forces an immediate update.
