View the sales history
Find a sale, see its details, cancel or refund it, export the list.
Overview
The history lists the sales made, with their amount, customer and status. It is used to verify, find an invoice, fix a mistake (cancellation) or refund.
Access
Tap the History icon in the top bar (cashier) or the "Sales history" card on the dashboard (manager / admin).
Interface description
- Status filters (all / completed / cancelled): Narrow the displayed list.
- Filter by seller (admin / manager): For admin and manager only: a "Filter by seller" dropdown shows only a specific cashier's sales (or "All sellers"). A cashier only ever sees their own sales - this menu does not appear for them, and the server guarantees they cannot see others'.
- Sale details: Shows the items, customer, payment method, change given, date.
- Cancel / Refund: Lets you cancel a sale (with a reason) or refund it.
- Export: Exports the list (according to rights) for archiving or analysis.
Step-by-step procedure
- Open the history and filter by status if needed. -> The list updates.
- Tap a sale to see its details. -> The full detail appears.
- To fix: use Cancel (enter a reason) or Refund, then confirm. -> The sale status is updated accordingly. (Check: Check that the status changed to cancelled / refunded.)
Examples
[Simple] Find a sale of the day: You open the history, filter on "completed" and tap the relevant sale to review its receipt.
[Intermediate] Cancel a checkout mistake: A sale was recorded twice: you open the duplicate, choose Cancel, enter the reason and confirm.
[Advanced] View a specific cashier's sales (admin / manager): You open the history, open "Filter by seller" and pick a cashier: the list now shows only their sales. For a full compared analysis (revenue, average basket, ranking), use the "Cashier performance" screen instead.
Edge cases
Cancel / refund / export options may depend on your role and the company rules.

- Always enter a clear reason when cancelling: it stays traced for follow-up.
