Analyze cashier performance

AdminManager

Compare and rank cashiers (revenue, sales, average basket, cancellations, refunds) over any period.

Presentation

This screen compares cashiers over a period you choose (day, week, month, quarter, semester, year, or custom range). For each cashier: revenue, number of sales, average basket, total discounts, cancellations, cancellation rate, and refunds. A ranking highlights the best. Tapping a cashier shows their activity curve and best-selling products.

Access

Dashboard (administrator: Finance section; manager: Sales & customers section), "Cashier performance" card.

Interface

  • Period selector: Chips at the top: Today, Week, Month, Quarter, Semester, Year, Custom. The selected range is shown below.
  • Sort (Revenue / Sales): Toggles the ranking by revenue or by number of sales.
  • Summary cards: Total revenue, sales, active cashiers and refunds for the company over the period.
  • Chart by cashier: A bar chart visually compares cashiers by the chosen sort criterion (revenue or number of sales). Tap a bar to see its exact value.
  • Ranking cards (podium): One card per cashier, ranked best to worst. Ranks 1-2-3 are highlighted (gold, silver, bronze). Each card shows revenue, number of sales, average basket and cancellation rate. Tap a card to open the cashier detail.

Step-by-step procedure

  1. Open "Cashier performance" then choose a period (e.g. Month). -> The summary, chart and ranking update instantly.
  2. Toggle the sort between "Revenue" and "Sales" (top right). -> The ranking and chart reorder by the chosen criterion.
  3. Tap a cashier in the ranking. -> Their detail page opens: activity curve and list of their sold products.
  4. To compare over time, reopen the screen with another period (e.g. the previous month). -> You get the same indicators for the new period, to track progress. (Check: Compare a cashier's rank and revenue from one period to another.)

Examples

Top cashier of the month: Choose "Month" and "Revenue" sort: the cashier ranked #1 generated the most revenue.

Quarterly or yearly review: Choose "Quarter", "Semester" or "Year" to assess performance over a longer period (useful for a bonus or an annual review). The display stays instant even over several years.

Spot a high cancellation rate: A cashier with a cancellation rate clearly higher than others may signal a recurring handling mistake or a training need. Open their detail to analyze their sales and products.

Only cashiers with activity in the period appear. The current day is included and kept up to date automatically.

Error messages

No cashier activity
Cause: No sales in the selected period. - Solution: Pick a period that contains sales (e.g. Year).

Tips

  • Compare the same period month over month to track each cashier. A high cancellation rate may signal a need for training.
